Floral Fantasy #1 by artist Theo Dapore
This is the first in the series created many years ago.
Since the series has topped over 100 originals.
Floral Fantasy is a series of abstract flower themes.
Pure strength tube colors are applied directly to the canvas
and with repeated brush strokes blended to produce tonal values.
This is opposed to using a mixing palette as is the approach of most artist.
Theo Dapore creates his art setting his own rules of techniques.
They would be labeled experimental.
Though the artistic approach is unorthodox Dapore art
has been widely accepted. To date 7-22-2010 over 1600
of Theo's originals have been collected. The time frame
that his art has been made available is roughly five years.
